DUBAI:The UAE’S scorching desert became all the more hotter when
Shraddha Kapoor shot for the April edition of Vogue in Dubai. The
current edition of the fashion magazine talks about the most exclusive
and exciting experiences of the UAE. The girl with the killer body and
innocent looks shot for these pictures at Al Maha Desert Resort in
Dubai. She was styled by Bollywood favourite Anaita Shroff Adajania.
Editor of Vogue India, Priya Tanna gave City Times a sneak peek of the
edition. On the cover page we see her goth, grunge and chic avatar, but
for the inside pictures we see a softer side of Shraddha playing with a
camel and an eagle.
“Shooting in the UAE amidst the endless dunes, gave our April cover shoot a beautiful and ethereal sense of space and at the same time a touch of fantasy. The sand, the camels and the natural light made for a post card perfect backdrop for the Shraddha Kapoor shoot. The experience was absolutely memorable.
“For the cover story, we shot in the Oryx sanctuary and in the dunes. For another story we shot at the Emirates hanger, aboard the A380, and for another shoot we flaunted the skyline of Dubai against the backdrop of hot air balloons and the Kempinski Hotel. For a forthcoming issue we have also shot at the magical Atlantis hotel. Right from the weather to the hospitality, it was all conducive for a beautiful collaboration. Shraddha particularly enjoyed early morning visits from the gazelle and shooting in the company of the oryx.”
